By Design or By Disaster – STS Italia Scholarships
As conference partner, STS Italia offers two scholarships to join the conference By Design or By Disaster, Bozen, Italy, September 26- 28 (http://pro2.unibz.it/projects/blogs/bydesignorbydisaster/).
In addition to the conference registration fee, the two scholarships will cover documented expenses for travel, accommodation and meals up to a maximum of 150 Euros per person. Receipts and travel tickets must be delivered to obtain scholarship. In order to be refunded by STS Italia the applicant has to be member of the association for the year 2013 before the starting date of the conference (to become member of STS Italia please visit:http://www.stsitalia.org/?page_id=52).
Scholarship applicants must register in advance on the conference web page (http://pro2.unibz.it/projects/blogs/bydesignorbydisaster/register/) and, additionally, send a short CV (max 2500 characters) and a Statement of Purpose (max 2.500 characters) to paolo.magaudda@unipd.it, explaining why attending the conference would be important for their academic studies or career and outlining the reasons why they need a scholarship. Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of documented academic performance, personal achievements and financial needs.
